We're Off To Button Moon....

I don't know about you, but I am always on the look out for treasure in CSs and when I handed over a big plastic jar filled with all these, and asked how much, what do you think was the reply.

£3.50 ?

£3.00 ?

£2.00 ?

When the kindly lady replied £1.00 my dear, I wanted to give more, and her a hug, but the thrifty girl in me took over and I practically skipped out of the door.

I had so much fun picking out some of my favourites and felt especially pleased as I had already used some of the ones a fellow Blogger kindly sent me in a pretty handmade bag. So felt someone was looking over me that day.

Anyone else have a button thing going on.

  5. Wow thats fab!!
I have had a button thing since i was little - i don't really use them in craft projects (although i am planning to start). I just think they are so pretty and interesting. When i was young i used to tip my mums big jar of buttons onto the dining table and play with them - sorting out my faves or making patterns. Such simple pleaures!! x

  6. I buy buttons whenever I see them as I sell them at Dairy House Antiques and at Fairs such as the Vintage and Handmade Fair. A friend of mine has recently set up a blog entitled 'Confessions of a Buttonholic'. You might like to have a look. The link is on my sidebar. She runs courses in her little shop, including things to do with buttons.

  9. If you daughter likes the school I would look into it Mary, I’m not saying private is better, but Ben really did love his time at the school and has done really well.

If only I could spell, I love it when Ben is home I can ask him, if only I hadn’t talked so much at school I might not have been so bad at spelling.
