All Good Things Come To Those Who Wait....

Some of you may remember here that I mentioned I had lost my pretty engagement ring. I couldn't think where I had left it and had almost given up hope. Then I remembered if we don't have hope we have nothing, so I hoped and prayed it would turn up one day.

Well that day, over a year later, has finally come, my darling husband found it. Very bizarrely, it had somehow got wrapped up in an old bank statement, and whilst we were going through some household paperwork, he heard a little ping on the wooden floorboards and there it was.

And here she is reunited with her friends, Wedding and Eternity.

All good things come to those who wait, never give up hope.

Merry Christmas :)

  4. I did the same - lost my engagement & eternity rings - took them off one christmas and forgot about where I'd left them (blame the wine).

A year later when I was 'spring cleaning' I found them high up on a shelf in the kitchen in a jug!

Glad yours are reunited too :)

  18. Hooray! I'm so glad you found the ring! I know exactly how you must have felt! :)

I popped over from Pause from Advent and also enjoyed your Sunday post. I especially love the teddy bear! To me, teddies are an integral part of Christmas as I still bring out several my children outgrew, that my grandchildren now enjoy. I still remember one home where they made a Christmas tree shape of all teddies in their huge floor to ceiling window. It was so adorable and I always wanted to try it. I haven't yet, but maybe someday. :)

Thanks for all the lovely photos. Merry Christmas. :)
