So, Master Poppins is ready for his new bed.
Though I have to say, I really am not. I want to keep him safe and warm in his little cot. My little baby is growing up and I want to relish all the moments I have before he becomes a big boy and says his prayers, not in a cot, but in his own special bed.
It shall be alright won't it, if I keep him in his cot a little longer :)

What a lovely room he has to move into, I would want to get in there straight away! But if it makes you happy - keep him a little longer :) xxx
ReplyDeleteThat is such a lovely room.
ReplyDelete:) ((((Hug))))
Ooooh, can Jack come and stay please (with me of course), such a lovely room!
ReplyDeleteWe're aiming to put Jack in with Jess at some point over the next couple of weeks (unfortunately we only have 2 bedrooms) and I really don't want to.
If I can get his little corner of the room looking like this then i'll be very happy. Got to make it somewhere he wants to be haven't I?
Take care
Big hugs

Beautiful room Mary ...
ReplyDeleteHi, hope you don't mind me stopping by :)
ReplyDeleteThat room looks lovely, I hope your little one will be happy in there. I love all the cowboy and boats stuff, I've got girls so I don't get to buy boy's stuff at all! My youngest is 20 months and I keep thinking about taking the sides off her cotbed to make it into a bed, but I don't want to just yet. My eldest was well over two when I put her into a bed.

What a beautiful room! When we have children, I hope we are able to give them a room like this! What a lucky little boy! xxx
ReplyDeleteHow gorgeous is that?!! You've made his room so beautiful ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love the room....
ReplyDeleteThank you for the comments Mary.....(((hugs))))xxx
Hi Mary, I love little O's bedroom, perfect for a little boy! Mason has the same bed in black, he actually went to into his quite early, as a little one he would end up sleeping sideways in the cot and would wake himself up as he would stretch out and bang the sides of the cot!! But if you can keep him in the cot for longer, go for it! Mind you they do look so sweet as the bed are huge compared to them!! Have a great weekend......Claire xx
ReplyDeleteThanks for the lovely comments. Must be exciting having work done on the house, I know it must be a nightmare right now but it will be sooo worth it in the end. We could never have a loft conversion as it's so jam packed with stuff that I have no idea where we'd put it all :-S
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping my girls might want to share in a couple of years so I can reclaim the smallest bedroom for myself (though I think I will have a fight with my husband on my hands there!)

ReplyDeletehad to laugh at the thought of you in LA saying 10 of that 20 of that etc etc - i never realised they could sell in those amounts - guess where I will be next week!!! still debating over the rug what do i do?!?!?! red or blue red or blue......
ReplyDeleteMary - I need you to come and make my boys room look equally fabulous xx
ReplyDeleteI keep my babies in a cot until they can climb out!! Definately past their 2nd birthdays...there is no rush - I like to keep that last bit of babyhood!!
Rubes will be about 5 I think (last baby *sniff*!!!)
Xx
me again :-) i was thinking the navy as his bedding is the dark blue gingham so would go better??? but has red curtains (with a dark blue header) so maybe the red? LOL how long will it take me to make this decision!!! M was asking when she can see D again - she has just emailed you back :-)

Hello Mary,
ReplyDeleteJust noticed your favourite books!
Have you got what Katy did?
I loved these books myself when I was a child along with Enid Blyton of course.
Meant to ask you, were the old Fisher Price toys yours by any chance?
Have a good weekend
Take care
Big hugs

I'd be happy in that room - love the carpet!
ReplyDeleteYou keep him in a cot for as long as you are both happy,,,,,, the only thing that I will say is that when Harrison was 18 months old and in a cot I put him to bed as normal and came downstairs, a few seconds later we heard and almighty bang and he had tried to clim out of him cot, fell and broke his arm. Am awful situation followed involving having him put out the following day to have the arm manipulated back together....So as long as he is safe thats all that matters....
